The Indy Irish Fest will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2015, and we’re hoping to kick off the year in style with our newly added event, the Green Tie Gaela. Indy Irish Fest was formed in 1996 to celebrate the Irish heritage and culture of the city. In addition, we also work towards preserving, promoting and nurturing all things Irish through various programs and organizational partnerships.
Looking toward the future of the fest, the ultimate goal of the festival is to build a heritage center that would be able to house a lot of the Irish programming and organizations for the city. We’re contacting you today to ask for your help!
We request your consideration in donating gift certificates and/or merchandise to be to be used in a silent auction at our upcoming 2015 Green Tie Gaela fundraiser on April 11, 2015 at the Indianapolis ArtsGarden. Your generosity will go towards funding for the Irish Heritage Center, and helping the festival continues it mission of bringing Irish culture to all.
We will also be holding a Live Auction, and are asking for “experiences” to auction off to our attendees. These would be unique experiences that are not necessarily available to individuals in the market. If your organization is interested in donating something of this nature, we would love to discuss the possibility. Live Auction items will provide a natural opportunity to promote and recognize the donating party, similar to the benefit of sponsorship. Please indicate your interest if you would like to discuss further.
We sincerely hope you’ll consider supporting our mission through this unique celebratory event. Indy Irish Fest is a 501©3 non-profit, so your donation will be tax deductible. We’d love to have your donation by March 30, 2015. The donation form is available here.
